By BlackOwned Institute Super Bowl Champion Ryan Harris has joined BlackOwned Institute’s team of Influencers and Motivational Speakers.
At the peak of his NFL career, Ryan and the Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50 over Carolina. A year later in 2017 Ryan retired, having played tackle for five teams, including the Eagles, Texans, Chiefs and Steelers. In a 10-year run of highlights—and 10 surgeries--Ryan beat the odds, outlasting the average NFL career by seven years.
With the same tenacity and strength of character he brought to the gridiron, Ryan started his next chapter. Now, he is a sought-after speaker on topics from financial literacy to leadership, mentoring, team dynamics and more. In his best-selling book, “Mindset for Mastery: An NFL Champion’s Guide to Reaching Your Greatness,” Ryan offers principles he learned in football to help others confront life’s challenges.
“It is your right to be extraordinary. When we embrace that right, we create positive change in the world.” With this powerful mantra, Ryan is on a mission to share hope and inspiration.
As an activist and role model for our youth, Ryan Harris brings the right stuff: “Real change can happen when we commit to educating ourselves, investing in our communities and acting on our passions,” said Ryan.
BlackOwned Institute is delighted to welcome Ryan Harris to the team.
Through Black Owned Institute programs, children learn about Black and African history and gain a complete picture of the role Black Americans played, and continue to play, in making our country great.
